Angola, Vietnam Cooperate In Fight Against Poverty, Hunger
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCT) and the Academy of Political and Administrative Science Ho Chi Minh of Vietnam will cooperate in several areas of scientific knowledge in order to eradicate poverty and famine. According to the chairperson of the Ho Chi Minh Academy, Huu Nghia, his stay in Angola aims to see what Angolans have done during peace period especially the actions to fight against famine and poverty and reinforce cooperation ties between the two countries. In higher education and science technology they agree to send more Vietnamese experts to work with Angolans and also send Angolan students to the Asian country. The minister of Higher education, Science and Technology, Maria Cândida Teixeira considered the visit as positive because it aims to reinforce cooperation between the two countries in sectors like higher education and scientific research.
