70% of Rural People in Ha Nam Province Provided with Clean Water So Far

Authorities of Vietnam’s northern province of Ha Nam have provided clean water for 70% of people and rural areas so far, the Communist Party of Vietnam said on its website June 15. The province has built eight clean water supply systems and upgraded four other networks in some districts after three years of the implementation of a safe water project in rural areas. The total capital for the construction and repairing of the clean water project is estimated at VND106.5 billion. The money is taken from both the central and provincial budget, together with assistance from private companies. Vietnam aims to supply clean water to 85% of its population by the year-end.
