Aid for social protection program Foundation Vietnam (hereinafter referred as AFV) was established under the Law of the Social Republic of Vietnam according to the Decision No. 633/Q?-BNV dated 11 April 2016. The Ministry of Home Affairs recognized the Foundation eligibility for operation and its members of Board of Trustees according to the Decision No. 1729/Q?-BNV dated 4 July 2016.
AFV operates as a non-profit, social foundation aiming to provide support for poverty reduction programs and projects, job generation, community development, and sponsorship, to help the poor, the unprivileged, children living in difficult conditions according to the law.
In partnership with MOLISA as the key Government of Viet Nam partner, and its Department of Child Affairs as implementing focal point, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) is implementing the Project “Technical Support for Enhancing National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam” (ENHANCE) with financial support from the United States Department of Labour (USDOL).
