1. Background:
Viet Nam is having some initial progress on reducing cigarette smoking in the past few years. However, the country if facing new challenges with novel and emerging tobacco and nicotine products, mainly Electronic Nicotine Delivery System (ENDS) and Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) the prevalence of which seems to be rising among the youth in recent years.
The International Center (formerly known as Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation -VVAF) is a humanitarian organization that has addressed the consequences of war through advocacy and service programs in Vietnam for the last three decades. As a co-founder of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, IC-VVAF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997. Now working under The International Center, IC, focuses on disability support, landmine removal, and mental health programs.
Planète Enfants & Développement (PE&D) is a French NGO is looking for one organisation with expertise in psychology based in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Organisation is responsible for assessing the needs of, and providing direct psychological support to, child trafficking victims. The organisation will oversee the implementation of trauma informed care to help the victims with their recovery so they can reintegrate into society. The sessions will take place at a shelter in HCMC managed by DOLISA. The organisation will coordinate directly with the project coordinator of PE&D.
Planète Enfants & Développement (PE&D) is a French NGO is looking for an Organisation with expertise on Child Trafficking based in Vietnam.
The organisation is responsible for the production of new IEC materials, or the adaptation of existing IEC materials to educate and raise awareness on internal child trafficking. The organisation is also responsible for the implementation of IEC events with the community to raise awareness on the internal child trafficking.
