FHI 360 is an international non-governmental organization that, in Vietnam, promotes the health and well-being of the Vietnamese people, particularly vulnerable and marginalized populations. Despite abortion being legally available in Vietnam, female sex workers face significant barriers to accessing services due to the illegality of sex work, stigma, discrimination by service providers, and lack of information. Funded by Grand Challenges Canada, Center for Promotion of Advancement of Society (CPAS) will be developing and implementing a mHealth intervention, entitled: ‘Mobile Connect’, to address unsafe abortion among female sex workers in Vietnam.
