Vietnam-based consultancy opportunity: PROJECT M&E “CAPACITY BUILDING FOR HIV/AIDS PREVENTION IN VIETNAM” (Baseline survey, MTR report and Endline survey)

The Eliminate Dengue Program (EDP) is a large multi-institution research program led by Professor Scott O’Neill, Dean of the Faculty of Science and the School of Biological Sciences at Monash University (Australia). The program aims to develop a new approach to control dengue using Wolbachia pipientis, a naturally occurring bacterium, to block transmission of dengue viruses by the primary mosquito vector Aedes aegypti (www.eliminatedengue.com). The work is funded by The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health through Grand Challenges in Global Health Initiative of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Wellcome Trust. The EDP is being implemented in Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil, and Colombia.

Vietnet Information Technology and Communication Center (Vietnet-ICT) is a Vietnamese not-for-profit non-governmental organization working in the areas of information technology and communication. The Center was established as the Decision No. 227/Q?-TWH dated 21 November 2007 by the Vietnam Scientific Association for Development of Talents, Human Resources and was granted with the Certificate of Registration for Science and Technology Activities dated 20 December 2007 by Hanoi Department of Science and Technology.
Pact is recruiting a Contract Manager for an upcoming USAID-funded program that aims to strengthen human, organizational, and systems capacity to lead the national HIV and AIDS response and deliver innovative enhancements in HIV and AIDS services in Vietnam. The project will provide direct service delivery and technical assistance to key stakeholders in target provinces and facilitate transition of USAID-supported HIV and AIDS services to the Vietnam provincial governments.
