American Red Cross is a non-profit, volunteer-led, humanitarian organization working to provide high impact emergency relief and long term sustainable development projects for the world's most vulnerable people. In Vietnam, we cooperate closely with our implementing partner, the Vietnam Red Cross on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) program and related projects including early warning systems, community-based first responder training and school-based disaster preparedness. We are now looking for candidate to fill the following position to support project implementation in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai Provinces.

Luxembourg Development, the Executing Agency for Bilateral Co-operation financed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, assists the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) to implement the project. VIE/031 “Strengthening of Human Resources in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry in Vietnam” which has a duration of 3 years. The overall objective is to supply the hospitality and tourism industry in key tourist zones identified by the GoV with qualified personnel, and the specific objective is to increase the quantity and to improve the quality of graduates from selected tourism schools/colleges through upgraded capacity of schools to deliver practice-oriented and demand-driven training.
The project Poverty Reduction in Rural Areas (PARA) is implemented in Tra Vinh and Ha Tinh Provinces, under the overall guidance of the Provincial People’s Committees. It receives support from the German Government through GTZ. It is implemented in cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), providing advisory and capacity building services to the IFAD funded programme Improving Market Participation of the Poor (IMPP).
The project objective is to improve the participation of poor rural people in a range of markets. The first phase is from 2007 to 2010. The second programme phase is from 2011 – 2012. The Project is seeking for 01 Private Sector Development Specialist, full time position, for 27 months contract.
